November 8 Election

The election will be held on the 8th of November. Helen Clark spouted a load of waffle about how great they had been for families, and how terrible and untrustworthy National are, but eventually got to the point. Parliament will be dissolved on October 3.

No surprises.

Poor result for the Family Party in the TV1 poll tonight – failed to register at all.

  2. Mr Dennis Says:

It isn’t as bad as it initially looks. Based on long-term averages we are polling at a similar level to United Future. If you sum Family + Christian Heritage + Destiny votes (as both of those parties have disbanded and we are the closest replacement policy- and philosophy-wise) we are holding steady at 0.5% even in this poll, and have done for three months now.
